Releasing our Vision to the Universe
We gathered, we meditated, we searched through hundreds of images, we shared and supported and we created vision boards proclaiming our heartfelt desires and intentions for this year.
We are our keeping our intentions alive throughout the year by turning them into wall hangings, screen savers, post cards, business cards AND posting them on the Flourish blog. We’re off to a great start and can’t wait to see what amazing things the year brings!
We hope they inspire you too!
Color in Motion
(Says Artist Process and inspiration with woman in pink dancing)

I am the one who dances with colors and textures inspired by beautiful cloth. I am the one who honors traditions, rituals, and creativity delighting with wonder at our ancestors who have woven intricate quilts and hand stitched clothing. Inspired by words, books, and flowers, I thrive on layers, textures, and depth. I am the one who listens to the creative spirit believing in the feminine dance.
The Courageous Path
(Says compassion, courage, spiritual with yellow lotus.)

I am the one who sojourns with compassion and courage, traveling a spiritual, ancient path. I am the one who holds this journey with mom, the journey that has existed from the beginning of time.
Six months ago, I felt unsettled, confused, and very sad when I found out that my mother has stage 4 breast cancer. With the new year, my intention is to take the courageous path, honoring her experience and her way. In planning a trip to Santa Fe in February, we’ll stay at a beautiful inn, go to a spa, look at art, and enjoy the ancient traditions that thrive there. We will hold whatever is next in life. This year will be one of compassion, Courage, and holding. I know we will travel a road that will not be easy, but one I will hold dearly.
Doors of Opportunity

Reflecting my intentions to grow my business in 2009. I see the open door as both an opportunity, and also a call to action on my part…to look for opportunities and be willing to step into them when presented.
Enjoying Our Time Together

This collage is about focusing on what’s important this year as my daughter graduates from high school and goes off to collage. I can focus on being sad or I can focus on cherishing our family time and the dynamic we have while she is still living in our home. I also want to welcome a new dynamic as she leaves for college.
Still pondering a title…
